I'd say buy it on sale and you'll love it! It does have a quality feel to it and works on nearly all surfaces. I would say that my issues are few and far between and this would be a good choice based on all the options it has. The middle button is back away from the wheel so it's very difficult to hit it by mistake while scrolling the wheel, but depending on your hands and play style this could be an issue for fast clicks. The buttons click very quickly and I have no issues with double clicks. I like the lights and the ability to change the wheel color independent of the logo color. The software allows for more control than most people will ever need as you can really dial it in to fit your play style or ability.

It is a great feeling mouse and it functions very well after my frustrating start with it, and my second firmware install went flawlessly. For $60 you should not have issues right out of the box. Overall Review: I took two eggs off because of the firmware issues I had and for the missing nameplate. Not many games are setup to use the color changing lights which make that part a gimmick for now. The mouse I received is missing the logo at its base. The firmware must be updated to use the software so you can't skip it if you want to use all the custom settings. Took me the next 20 minutes of rebooting and retrying the the process before it finally worked again after it bricked the mouse.

I've had two firmware updates in less than a month so they're keeping it updated quite well.Ĭons: When I plugged it in it worked great until I opened the software and it prompted me to update the firmware and it failed the installation. The colors can be set to do different things in games that are setup for it such as indicating health/damage.
The free software allows for easy customization of the buttons, DPI sensitivity settings, and the color options for the wheel and the logo with endless amount of colors for each. The side buttons are quite large and almost too easy to push so you'll never be hunting for them in mid battle. Seems to work on any surface at my home including the glass shelf my PC is sitting on. I like the soft touch black rubbery surface and I don't have trouble with it smudging or fingerprinting but my hands are always clean. Pros: This mouse is very light and comfortable for large hands and all the buttons perform great for gaming.
